Privacy policy

This policy covers zettacorelabs.com, operated by ZettaCore from Ahmedabad, India. It describes what the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It does not cover a client engagement, where a signed agreement and, where one applies, a separate data processing agreement govern instead.

The enquiry form asks for your name, work email, company, phone number, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget and your message. Only name, email and message are required. Our servers keep ordinary request logs - IP address, browser user agent and timestamp - which we use to keep the site available and to spot abuse. With your consent, analytics tags load through Google Tag Manager and set cookies that measure how pages are used. We do not ask for financial details, government identifiers or special category data through this site, and you should not send them in a form field.

We use enquiry details to reply to you, to scope the work you asked about, and to keep a record of the conversation for our own business administration. Our lawful basis is your request to be contacted, together with our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. Analytics tells us which pages are read and where people leave, so we can improve them. We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Enquiries reach us by email and are stored on infrastructure we operate. Service providers that necessarily process data on our behalf include our hosting provider, our email provider and Google Analytics. They act on our instructions. Beyond that we disclose personal data only where the law requires it.

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live, and afterwards for up to twenty-four months so we can pick a thread back up and meet our own record-keeping obligations. Server logs are kept for a short operational window. Analytics data follows the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Ask us to erase your enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time by clearing or blocking cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live these rights arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India, the UK and EU GDPR, or comparable law. Write to sales@zettacorelabs.com and we will respond within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

The site is served over HTTPS and enquiry data is transmitted encrypted. Access to stored enquiries is limited to the people at ZettaCore who need it to answer you. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach affects your data and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant authority.

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
